Remember Carcharodon carcharias, 12 years ago it was known as the very first M1. Back then it was ground breaking, spearheading what was the standard for others to follow. Fossils of The Great White dates back 16 million years. A creature so perfect, it decided to skip evolution till this date! The same approach laid the foundation for the entire M series of amplifiers. From the M1 MK2 to The Raven (M15R), each model unique, but all had that DNA in them that leads back to the initial M1.

Succeeding our most successful amplifier The Raven is no easy task. While others dwell on the same ancient design, B2 audio resets it all for 2020. Dealing away with voltage caps, The M16 / The Great White boasts an operation voltage from 9V to 17.5V. Making it perfect for the future standard of battery technology. Lithium, LTO, LiFePo4, SCIBS etc can be configured to a higher voltage than the traditional 12V batteries. Having a voltage capped amplifier will likely cause protection issues in higher voltage setups.
Older designs got around this by offering a low and a high voltage model. The low voltage amplifier shined with great performance below 16V, the latter needed 16V and up to be on par with the low voltage one. You can’t have the best of both worlds.

The Falcon & The Osprey already ushered in a new approach in voltage performance across the entire operation span. The M16 will further cement it. The design enforces vast amounts of power at higher ohm loads. It is still 1 ohm stable (and below), but don’t go and cheapen on the battery supply. The 1600A fuse rating is there for a reason. So you might be thinking The Great White can’t compete with acclaimed 20k’s? Rated at 16K at 1 ohm, might look as a disadvantage, but our focus is the true power you will see after impedance rise. 12.000 Watts at 2 ohm defies the norm, even in comparison to competitors 25K+ amplifiers. Most of those use a highly efficient full bridge tech, but they truly lack the dynamic power the M16 has.

Remember logical quads from the Zero8 (The Osprey), or is it still vague? Our take on power and ground connection is logical and just better for you, the customer. The Great White has the same oversized Quad inputs as The Osprey. Logical quads each has 2 negative and positive terminals arranged as –, ++, ++, — not mixed together like -/+ , +/-, -/+, +/-.

Slave 1 / Slave 2? Yes, it is possible to both strap and daisy chain (link) these amplifiers. With the slave 1 mode you can strap them together to achieve twice the power of a single unit. The slave 2 mode and the added gain is a new twist. In this mode your signal path will all come from the master amplifier. This is commonly used in gain matched amplifiers or splitting the signal into multiple y-cables! The slave 2 will make it easier for you to gain match as the gain of the slave 2 amps (if several) is close to identical to the master amplifier. There could still be variables and losses in signal cables, installation etc, so the extra gain is there to fine tune the slaves. All this talk about slaves, well what about remote voltage, instead of having to split your switched 12v remote into multiples, the Zero’s have both a remote in and a remote out, simple as that. Worry about all that beefy wire you will use to your subwoofers, no problem. The dual 4 gauge terminals have you covered. Should you care to monitor the real voltage inside your amplifiers, then there is port for an external display that will do that too. By the way, the ACCU8 crossovers with designated frequencies on the potentiometers, makes it simple to tune your sound like a pro. But with less experience and tools needed. That’s what the new generation of B2 audio amplifiers are about!

*In order to get the full power output of the amplifier, it is crucial that your electrical system is correctly (over) dimensioned. Failure to upgrading will constrain the power output & lower the efficiency.  This can cause damage to the amplifier &  void the warranty. Driving the amplifier with  ohm loads below of what is written in the manual is another void.  Therefore take your time and read the manual thoroughly prior to installing! **Marine capable products are not to be subjected directly to water, but has the ability of being functional in humid conditions.
